EVENT: Moving into the Luxembourg Workplace

I was invited by The Network to speak to their audience on the topic Moving into the Luxembourg Workplace with my emphasis on non-verbal communication in the interview process.

If you don't look like and act like you're going to get the job, then you already know the outcome.

The event had workplace experts from the Luxembourg's official employment agency Adem presenting the Luxembourg labour market and explain the prerequisites for getting employed in Luxembourg. They also gave attendees a brief overview of the support measures and financial aids job-seekers and employers may eventually benefit from.

This was followed by Human Ressources expert Anita De Viell. Anita is Director of the recruitment & training company Fast. In her capacity, she shed light on the recruitment process and explained how a candidate can attract employer's attention. Moreover, she provided attendees with some practical tips for a good application.

The third and last part was dedicated to the non-verbal communication. Dot Bekker, an experienced communication consultant informed job seekers in a lively presentation on how to lead successful interviews, and also how to gain confidence and credibility through non-verbal communication.
