As President of The Network one of our scheduled events for 2015 was Get Connected and I had an idea that it would be great to collaborate with 9 different organisations to bring them to the attention of our Members and by cross promoting each network would benefit from exposure to a much wider audience than ever before. Literally it was multiplying exposure by 100.
I chose the organisations on the basis of the interest they may have to the audience, a women's network, and varied them to cover different sectors
ADEM - to assist people with work and unemployment questions
AMCHAM - a business focussed organisation
Femal Board Pool - to encourage women to Board positions
Femmes en detresse - an organisation with a wide spread of support for women and children in difficult circumstances.
Girls in Tech - encouraging women into the technical sector
Just Arrived - information about Luxembourg, especially for the newly arrived.
Let'z go Local - an organisation supporting local businesses and crafts
Mumpreneurs - encouraging local mothers into entrepreneurship
The Second Degree - offering adult education courses.
The event was a huge success, one of the most successful The Network ever held and was over subscribed. Judging by the level of noise, and feedback, the networking was also a great success
I particularly love networking, and introducing people to some of the amazing people and organisations that will improve life for many.
A successful evening, thanks too to my fellow Board members at The Network and one I shall remember fondly.
